A whole set of surveys services for environmental and design problems
GECOsistema qualified personnel provides survey services in the fields of:
- Measurement of environmental noise as a requirement of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, or for determining compliance with planning consents
- Topographic ground survey with total stations, GPS, laser scanner
- Hydroecology, river flow measurements according to ISO748:2003 methodology, hydromorphological and ecological assessment and monitoring through synthetic indexes.
GECOsistema engineers provides skilled noise monitoring service that is compliant with current EU Standards and legislation. Typical noise assessment areas include;
- Detecting noise nuisance in accordance with ISO 9613-2:1996
- Attenuation of sound during propagation outdoors
- Determination of noise levels generated by construction sites
- Measurement of environmental noise as a requirement of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, or for determining compliance with planning consents GECOsistema has the sound level meter “FUSION” marketed by 01dB for precision acoustic measurements in indoor and outdoor environments
We operate with GPS, total stations, laser scanners to offer topographic survey services applied to the different sectors from civil design to environmental assessment:
- Listed plans
- Reliefs of rivers and bathymetries
- Materialization of GPS permanent strongholds
- High resolution laser scanner survey for buildings, quarries, complex topographic surfaces.
We perform flow measurements in channels and watercourses with advanced instrumentation (Acustic Doppler Current Profiler and traditional) in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 748: 2003 standard coupled on request to hydraulic modeling 1D-2D (HEC-RAS, Telemac) for:
- Monitoring of water derivations intakes and release of ecological flow
- Estimation/monitoring of the hydro-morphological and ecological status through synthetic indexes (such as IDRAIM method),
- Setup of hydrological monitoring stations through validation of experimental stage-flow relations.
